Nimbus Pressure Washing Services
project Snapshot
A startup launch package built from the ground up, including a new logo and a full set of print promotional materials designed for local visibility and fast customer acquisition.
- Role: Creative Production Lead
- Timeline: 2 Weeks from Discovery to final printed materials delivered
- Outcome: Nimbus launched with a cohesive brand and promotional materials that were approved and printed without issues, meeting the deadline and avoiding reprints. Within the first month of operation, Nimbus gained 25 new clients and 12 repeat clients. In the second month, they placed a follow-up order for additional business cards, door hangers, and yard signs. Within the first quarter, they expanded service into a new area.
About Nimbus
Nimbus Pressure Washing Services is a locally owned pressure washing business focused on helping homeowners and businesses keep their properties looking their best. Carter and Grace (owners of Nimbus) came into AlphaGraphics with a strong business idea and real knowledge of pressure washing, but no clear brand customers could recognize. They had a name and a basic logo sketch, but no established identity, imagery, or direction for how the business should look in the market. I led a discovery session to define their audience, clarify their services, and shape the brand around what they wanted to be known for: strong work ethic, attention to detail, and clean, reliable results. From there I designed the logo and built a cohesive set of print materials that helped them promote confidently and stay consistent across every touchpoint.
The Challenge
This project started with limited inputs and a brand that did not exist yet. Nimbus had no imagery and only a rough draft idea for the logo. The direction needed to be clarified and solidified before design could move forward. On top of that, every deliverable required different print specifications and production requirements, including door hanger die cuts and correct layout setup for yard signs and business cards. The challenge was building a clear brand system and delivering accurate, press-ready files across multiple formats without delays or print issues.
The Goal
Create a consistent brand identity and print-ready promotional materials that would help Nimbus get noticed in local neighborhoods and convert homeowners into customers.
The Deliverables

THe Process
This is how we took Nimbus Pressure Washing from a business idea to a clear, recognizable brand with print-ready marketing tools.
Define
Led a discovery session to clarify Nimbus’s audience, services, and brand direction. We aligned on what they wanted to be known for in the community, including strong work ethic, attention to detail, and clean, reliable results. This step created the framework for the visual identity, including logo direction, color ideas, and the core message.
Build
Developed the logo from the client’s basic draft and translated the new brand direction into a consistent design system. Built the first round of print materials with clear hierarchy and layouts that work across multiple formats, including business cards, door hangers, and yard signs.
Refine
Reviewed and tightened typography, spacing, and layout structure to keep the brand consistent across every piece. Adjusted content and hierarchy for fast readability, especially on large-format items. Finalized each design based on feedback while keeping everything aligned to the original brand framework.
Launch
Prepared and delivered production-ready files for each deliverable, including correct bleed, safe margins, door hanger die-cut setup, and yard sign placement for clean printing. Packaged logo files for ongoing use across invoices and apparel so Nimbus could launch with a recognizable brand and usable marketing tools.
Customer Profiles
The Middle Class Family
Nelson Family
The Middle Class Family
The Nelsons are a middle-class household that takes pride in keeping their home looking sharp. With two hardworking parents and a full schedule, home maintenance often gets pushed down the list, but they still care about curb appeal and protecting their investment. They hire Nimbus Pressure Washing to clean the exterior of their home, driveway, and walkways so the property stays clean, welcoming, and well-kept without them having to spend a weekend doing it themselves. Because the Nelsons are well-liked and connected in their neighborhood, a great experience with Nimbus does not stop with one job. They are the type of family that will mention Nimbus in conversations, recommend them to neighbors, and help the brand spread through word of mouth.
The Business Owner
Kristie
The Storefront Owner
Kristie is a local business owner with a storefront to run and very little extra time to focus on exterior upkeep. Between managing staff, customers, inventory, and day-to-day operations, pressure washing is not something she can prioritize, even though she knows the outside of her business affects how people perceive it. She hires Nimbus to pressure wash the front of her building, sidewalks, and exterior surfaces to restore a clean, professional look that reflects the quality of her business. Kristie values reliability, minimal disruption, and results that make her storefront look refreshed and inviting. If Nimbus delivers a smooth experience and strong results, she is likely to become a repeat client and refer Nimbus to other business owners in her network.
