Southerners On New Ground (SONG) hired me to recreate their 2023 Feedback Survey Report so it felt like their organization on the page. The original report existed, but the visual system needed to be more consistent, more modern, and more aligned with SONG’s identity and audience.
This was a full report redesign that included rebuilding page layouts, strengthening hierarchy, and presenting charts and survey insights in a way that is easier to scan and easier to trust.

About S.O.N.G.
Southerners On New Ground (SONG) is a Southern-based organization focused on LGBTQ liberation across lines of race, class, culture, gender, and sexuality, supporting organizing and movement-building across the region.
The Challenge
This report includes a lot of data, charts, and written explanations. The challenge was building a consistent layout system that could handle many different types of content without feeling heavy or hard to read, while keeping the report visually aligned with SONG.
The Goal
Present survey findings in a report that is:
- On-brand for SONG
- Easier to scan and navigate
- Visually consistent across charts, headings, and sections
- Clean and professional for internal and external stakeholders
